Our target groups

Target Groups are clearly defined
- Teachers, trainers, teacher educators, developer of courses and learning formats, learning content creators and other education staff in the context of further forest education
- Principals, managing directors, head of training departments, and similar high-level person in forest education facilities policy and decision makers related to the forest education sector
The scope of the target groups ranges from local, regional, national to European level.
Benefits for trainers and educators
- Improve their own knowledge base on e-didactics, blended learning models, digital tools and platforms,
- Develop a joint approach for blended learning overcoming their lack of e-didactic skills, missing knowledge on supporting technology and digital content creation,
- Prepare the basis for a future-oriented, flexible and attractive multi-modal learning environment that will boost the attractiveness of jobs in forestry education for a younger generation,
- Exchange skills and experiences related to digital teaching between education centers and across borders,
- Exploit the interactivity and rapid loops of learning, tracking, feedback and course optimization provided by use of technology.

Our priorities

1.
Contributing to innovation in vocational education and training, by
- increasing the awareness for blended learning formats among the forestry community.
- intensifying the already begun implementation of “e-learning” as part of the forest educations center’s offer to professionals and practitioners.
2.
Addressing digital transformation through development of digital resources, resilience and capacity, by
- introducing the creation of usable digital content as a natural process accompanying field trainings and demonstrations.
- boosting the blended teaching expertise of the project partners and the fragmented European forest education landscape to foster the digital transformation of the forest education sector and to stimulate the uptake of necessary skills and competencies on regional, national, and European level.
3.
Improving the competences of teachers, trainers, educators and other adult education staff, by
- creating an active Europe-wide network of forestry education experts to share knowledge on innovative digital teaching approaches and tools.
- improving the quality and interactivity of the created e-learning formats.
