The establishment of the Luua Forestry School is the only vocational education institution in Estonia specializing in this field. The Forestry Education Center for Forest Work and Forestry Technology (FBZ) in Arnsberg, Wald und Holz NRW, operates as the central forestry training institution in North Rhine-Westphalia. In addition to the traditional training of forestry technicians (up to master degree), the FBZ also offers forestry contractors, forest owners and private individuals the opportunity to attend seminars on forestry work and future-oriented forestry technology.
